About Gluvy
Gluvy is a face yoga and gua sha app for iPhone, built around short guided video routines you follow at home.
What is Gluvy?
Gluvy gives you follow-along face yoga and facial massage videos, organised into day-by-day plans. A typical session takes 5–10 minutes, and a timer moves you through each step. The app also includes skincare lessons, guided breathing and sleep sessions, morning and night routines, and a private progress journal. Do I need an account?
No. Gluvy creates an anonymous ID in the background, so there’s no email or password to set up.
Is Gluvy for me?

Does Gluvy Pro renew automatically?
Yes. Both the weekly and yearly plans renew at the price shown unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple charges your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
Can I get a refund?
Apple processes every App Store payment, so refund requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Gluvy can’t issue refunds directly. To stop future charges, follow Apple’s guide to cancelling a subscription.
I got a new iPhone. How do I keep Pro?
Sign in with the same Apple ID, open the subscription screen in Gluvy and tap Restore.

What’s included in the app?

What does the AI face analysis do?
The AI face analysis looks at a selfie and suggests three focus areas, such as the jawline, under-eyes or forehead, with a short observation for each. It’s a starting point for your routine. It is not a medical or dermatological diagnosis, and it doesn’t estimate your age or compare you with anyone. If you have a skin concern, see a dermatologist.
What if a video doesn’t load?
Videos load over the internet, so check your connection and try again. If it still fails, send a message from the app so support can see your device and app version.
Results and Safety
Face yoga is a low-risk habit with promising but limited research behind it.
What does the research say?
The best-known study, published in JAMA Dermatology in 2018, enrolled 27 women aged 40–65; 16 completed it. They practised for 30 minutes a day for 8 weeks, then every other day until week 20. Dermatologists rated standardised photos and saw improved upper and lower cheek fullness, and the average estimated age fell from 50.8 to 48.1 years. Can Gluvy change the shape of my face?
Nobody can honestly promise that. Gluvy is a wellness routine: many people enjoy it because it’s relaxing and helps them feel more in tune with their face. Who should check with a doctor first?
Talk to a doctor, dentist or physiotherapist before starting if you have jaw (TMJ) problems, a neck condition, recent facial surgery or injectables, or an active skin condition. Keep the pressure gentle, and stop any move that hurts.
Privacy and Data
Most of what you create in Gluvy never leaves your iPhone.
What stays on my phone?
Your journal entries, progress selfies, plan progress and settings are stored only on your iPhone. The onboarding face scan also runs on the device using Apple’s Vision framework.
What happens during the Pro AI analysis?
Only when you start it, your selfie is resized and sent over HTTPS to Gluvy’s server, which forwards it to OpenAI. The photo is held in memory only while the request runs. Gluvy keeps the text result of one analysis per user, linked to your anonymous ID.
How do I delete my data?
Delete entries in the app, or uninstall Gluvy to remove everything stored on the device. To delete data Gluvy holds, such as your AI analysis result or a message you sent, email [email protected], ideally from the in-app contact form so the request can be matched to your anonymous account. How do I cancel my Gluvy subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so you cancel on your iPhone: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Gluvy and tap Cancel Subscription. Do it at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
Is there a Gluvy app for Android?
No. Gluvy is an iPhone app available on the App Store. There is no Android version and no web app.
Which languages is Gluvy available in?
Gluvy is available in English and several other languages. You can check the full, current list on the App Store listing before you download.
Is my face photo stored?
The face scan during onboarding runs only on your iPhone and the photo is not uploaded. If you start the optional Pro AI face analysis, your selfie is sent to Gluvy's server and on to OpenAI for analysis; Gluvy does not store the photo and keeps only the text result of one analysis per user.
Does face yoga actually work?
The evidence is limited. A small 2018 study in JAMA Dermatology found that dermatologists rated cheek fullness as improved after 20 weeks of facial exercise, but only 16 women completed it and there was no control group. Larger controlled studies are needed, so treat face yoga as a relaxing habit rather than a guaranteed result.
