On-device face scan
During onboarding, Gluvy uses Apple's on-device Vision framework to map your face and suggest focus areas for your first plan. The photo is processed only on your iPhone and is not uploaded. The app shows "Stays on your device" while it runs.
Gluvy Pro · when you start it
AI face analysis
Pro subscribers can request a deeper analysis. The selfie is resized and sent over HTTPS to our server at api.gluvy.app, which checks your subscription and forwards it to OpenAI. You get a short summary and three focus areas with an observation for each.
What we keep, and what we don't
- We don't store your photo on our server; it's held in memory only while the request runs
- We keep the text result of one analysis per user, linked to an anonymous ID
- No account, name or email needed

What the analysis is (and isn't)
The analysis is a coaching suggestion: it picks the facial zones (forehead, eyes, nose, cheeks, lips, jawline, chin, neck or skin) where face yoga, gua sha or skincare routines are most likely to be useful to you, and explains why in a sentence.
It is not a medical or dermatological assessment. It doesn't diagnose conditions, estimate your age or compare you with anyone. If you have a skin concern, see a dermatologist.

Frequently asked questions
Is the face scan in onboarding uploaded?
No. The scan during onboarding runs only on your iPhone with Apple's on-device Vision framework. The photo is not sent to us or anyone else.
What happens to my photo in the Pro AI analysis?
When you start it, the photo is resized and sent over HTTPS to Gluvy's server (api.gluvy.app), which forwards it to OpenAI for analysis. We don't store the photo; we keep the text result of one analysis per user. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Is the AI face analysis a skin diagnosis?
No. It suggests three areas to focus on in your face yoga, gua sha and skincare routine. It does not diagnose skin conditions, guess your age or identify you.
How many analyses do I get?
Each account gets one AI face analysis. The app keeps the result so you can come back to it.
Do I need an account?
No sign-up is needed. Gluvy uses an anonymous ID to secure the request, without your name or email.
